Cisco Systems recently announced that there are now more “things” connected to the internet than people. Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group predicts that the number of connected devices will grow exponentially over the next 5 years, surpassing 50 billion in 2020.
That’s great news for Orlando-based Telemetree, Inc., which focuses on using new and emerging technologies to craft solutions for business owners and operators. Telemetree President Ron Cook commented: “Cisco’s projections regarding the future of IoT confirm that we are really in the infancy of this exciting emerging technology. A recognized leader in the IoT space Cisco has projected the value of “connecting the unconnected” to be $19 trillion over the next 10 years. We are just getting started!”
